Loivwer’s Story: 3,500-Graft Hair Transplant Results
Hair transplantation, seen through the experiences of each of our patients, is a unique process. Its physical and emotional results become a transformative event for those who decide to restore their hair. Today, we share with you the story of Loivwer, a charismatic Cuban bartender who was determined to recover his image and confidence with the help of the Care4Hair team.
A decision postponed due to doubts and misinformation

As a professional bartender, he works in one of the most popular bars in Miami: La Trova, located in Little Havana. There, every night, he serves dozens of customers in an environment full of traditional Cuban music, unique cocktails, and positive energy. However, behind his smile and mastery at the bar, he carried an insecurity that grew over time: the progressive loss of his hair.
I had always heard that hair transplants were very painful, extremely expensive, or that the only good results were in Turkey,he told us during his initial consultation. Like many, Loivwer was about to travel abroad to undergo the surgery, until a close friend told him about Care4Hair, and he decided to schedule an evaluation appointment at our clinic in Miami.
The consultation that changed everything
From the very first moment, Loivwer felt welcomed. "I was impressed by the treatment, from the person who answered the call to the girl at the reception. The whole team was amazing, and that gave me a lot of confidence." During his personalized evaluation, our specialists analyzed his alopecia pattern, the hair density in the donor area, and the design of his frontal hairline to define a surgical strategy fully adapted to his case.
One of the things that reassured Loivwer the most was learning that the surgery is not painful. Thanks to local anesthesia, the area where the doctors work is completely numb, allowing the patient to remain conscious but without feeling pain during the entire procedure.
Loivwer’s procedure: precision and personalized design
Loivwer’s surgery was performed on December 16, 2024. At 35, he became an ideal candidate for a hair transplant using the FUE method (Follicular Unit Extraction). He received 3,500 implanted follicles with the following distribution:
- 1,000 single-hair follicles
- 1,500 two-hair follicles
- 650 three-hair follicles
- 350 four-hair follicles
The strategic placement of the follicles was key to giving density to the frontal area and the design of his hairline, achieving a completely natural and rejuvenated appearance.
It is important to highlight that, although two patients may have the same alopecia pattern, each case is unique. The number of follicles to be implanted depends on factors such as the number of hairs per follicle, the thickness of those hairs, and the density and quality of the donor area. That's why at our clinic, each surgery is custom-designed, with a strategic approach that prioritizes functionality, balance, and aesthetics.

Loivwer and his new image, five months later
Five months after his surgery, Loivwer returned to the clinic, and the first thing we noticed was a complete change, not only in his hair but also in his attitude. He looked more confident, more cheerful… renewed inside and out. He told us that his customers notice it too: “They say I look different, younger, more self-reliant. And I tell them yes, it’s thanks to Care4Hair!”
As with all cases, hair growth is a gradual process. During the first few months, the transplanted follicles go through a resting phase, known as “shock loss,” during which the hair falls out temporarily before beginning to grow permanently. However, the pace of development depends on each individual, and postoperative support is key to achieving the best results.
Loivwer’s case and the misconceptions about hair transplantation
Like Loivwer, many patients are paralyzed by certain mistaken beliefs about the procedure. During his recovery, Loivwer learned that many of the myths about hair transplants are not true.
- I’ll feel pain during the surgery: False. Thanks to local anesthesia, the procedure does not cause pain, only some short-term discomfort.
- My transplanted hair will fall out again: Not true. At our clinic, we only work with follicles from the back of the head, which are resistant to the DHT hormone (the main cause of hair loss). Patients can expect the changes achieved with their newly transplanted hair to be permanent.
- I’ll have to take pills for life: It’s not mandatory. Some medications are recommended in the first months to speed up growth, but the implant is permanent.
- I’ll be left with scars: With the FUE method, there are no visible scars in the donor area, as the extraction is done strategically and randomly with high-precision instruments, so the trauma in that area is minimal.
